Can we just throw PROPHECY, either into the deep past, or deep into the future, just as we feel like it? Because it makes us more comfortable, in the false hope of not being eyewitnesses to the tribulations, even though none shall even touch, as per His will,any one with Christ within them?

No, we can't, and still think of selves as Christians, when we ignore His words:
The word Prophecy is used but 6 times in the O.T but 15 times in the N.T.....
Daniel 9:24 "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy"
This time frame ended at the stoning of Stephen, and Israel as a nation was no longer to be saved, as the whole, but individuals, as all others can still come to Christ.and be saved if they repent and accept Him and His will! {Sorry this will ruffle many a feather, but truth shall set us free, from sin}
2 Peter 1:21 " For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
Revelation 22:18-20 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus."

Today, there are voices who cry, out in alarm, this Islam, is the Antichrist, have Y O U heard this? Yet the reformers have already debunked that way back in Nicolas' time! History not taught , we shall repeat the same errors!
In 1570 Flacius also wrote a tractate on the antichrist--- the prophecies forming the basis of separation:

John Knox (1505- 15720 (Scotch Presbyterian)

[This Professor Walter Veith, Primary speaker for A.D. Elizabeth this and Holy Elizabeth that, so when one man said I came here to see Luther's study , where he sat and translated the Bible into German and I am going to see it! "Not part of the tour sir , sorry" said the tour guide!.Well after many visitors began to complain, he took them to where Marin Luther worked. his table top, and chair, and the whale vertebra he used for a foot stool! The contrast here was stark, form the humble simplicity of Luther's room, to that of all the huge rooms dedicated to St. Elizabeth, which was all glitz and glamour, with beautiful stained glass windows depicting the life and times of Elizabeth, it was all as if they wanted us to forget all about Luther and Reformation!
So I ask Y O U why, why is it that each and every site, that has a plaque, a marker, indicating some portion of a the Protestant past, have been greatly over shadowed if not totally removed and replaced with Catholic signs and images? Almost as if we are living once again under the heavy handed popes, who ordered the death of anyone who carried even one verse of Bible on his or person, was called a heretic and murdered!
I also ask you, "Is it now time, to look at the Holy Bible, as the Reformers looked at it and its prophecies? If not now. . . .WHEN? Remember all books shall close at one's passing, and what's done is done, there no changing possible.!
So the ONE Question that needs asking is: "Who do Y O U trust and have faith in, God or your fellow man"?
Then act where your trust lies!

Twin Pillars Reformation Part 3.
Romanism and the Reformation Books:
" HIS SEAT: Observe the position of the man of sin, Notice the word ... , "Sitteth," and connect with it...., a seat, a word which occurs three times in the New Testament. It is used twice with reference to the seats in the temple of those who sold doves, who turned the House of God into their house of merchandise and a den of thieves: and once in the sentence, "the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat."
From the Greek word Ka8iz,w ( kathizo`--kath-id'-zo] comes our word "Cathedral" or the Bishop's seat, meaning the seat of the "Overseer" . Plus also the expression EX Cathedra, meaning "from His Seat" thus speaking officially! There in that exalted cathedral position, and claiming to represent God, the man of sin was to act and abide as the pretended vicar, but real antagonist, of Christ, undermining His authority, abolishing His laws and oppressing His people."

" The feature of FALSE Profession reappears in the corresponding prophecy in 2nd. Timothy concerning the "Last days", in which the abettors and adherents of the apostasy are describes as men "having the form of godliness, but denying the power thereof" ..."
2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."
IBID: "These men were not then to be open opponents of godliness, but, on the contrary, they would be great professors" {note (J.B.) yes they would profess their Godliness to the public, but yet they deny God's power]
They put forth two theories, of doctrines: Futurism and Preterism, Yes there is antichrist, yet far into the future, thus Futurism. The other is "Well he was Antiochus the Greek who violated the Temple, but he's long gone into the past-- Preterism! sadly some 96% of Christians have swallowed one or the other, yet neither is found a fit in the Word of God!
MAN OF SIN VS. THE MAN OF GOD.
"The man of sin,", like" the man of God", had a broad, extended meaning. When we read, "That the man of God may be perfect----
2 Timothy 3:17 "That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
"We do not suppose it means any one individual man, although it has a definite article. It indicates a whole calls of men of a certain character, succession of similar individuals. A man of sin could only be one man, just a a king of England could only mean an individual. The KING, on the other hand, may include a whole dynasty. When, in speaking of the Jewish Tabernacle, in Hebrews, Paul says that into the Holiest of all, "went the high priest alone once ever year," he includes the entire succession of High Priests of Israel. That a singular expression in prophecy may find its fulfillment in a plurality of individuals is perfectly clear from John's words, 1 John 2:18 " Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
Grammatically it may seem either and individual or a succession of similar individuals. The context determines that it actually does mean the latter" .2 Thessalonians 2:7 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." In which we see this man of sin [= iniquity= lawlessness] was latent, was already working in Paul's day [He died in A.D. 94+/-].
"So, 'the pope of Rome', may intimate one single bishop or the long line succession-- a perpetual person. So "the man of sin." from: "Romanisn and the Reformation."
The Vatican;'s counter argument was, "The man of sin, is singular but we have had many popes, thus this is wrong." However the reformers followed the Word of God very carefully and came the the above conclusion that it means both the singular and all the successors down through time, until the time of the end!
No duration at all is mentioned in this prophecy by Paul, only the two limits!
IBID: "ALREADY". the apostasy was developing, and it would not be destroyed till the advent, Christ's return. Paul's features of antichrist chronology reveal when it would arise {after the fall of Roman Empire] and that it would exist up to the second coming {Compare Daniel 7:26 " But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end."]
Thus the two limits set by both Daniel and Paul, are identical, but the problem they have, is that both of their dogma's, Preterism and Futurism BOTH fall OUTSIDE both of these limits! So who is correct, all the Reformers or today's theologians? {(J.B.) I do not attempt to persuade, but do show the facts of truth, so each of Y O U must decide to buy truth or reject God's truth and accept man;'s truth!]
Many people, especially those born from the 1960's on, think of Christianity, as crutch! No it's NOT a Crutch, it's a Cross, because it's tough to be a Christ following Christ man or woman. As we are treated as outcasts, who believe in fairy tales. c

SO, WHICH IS THE REAL FAIRY TALE?
He sits in the temple of God: The face of the man of sin is the face of the false apostle, the dark face of Judas. Written upon the wall of the temple, "son of perdition." The man of sin is as Judas- a secret enemy while a seeming friend--- a :familiar friend", yet a fatal foe who betrays with a kiss and a "Hail Master".
Observe the place occupied by the man of sin-- the "temple", or house of God. This is not, and cannot be, any Jewish Temple.
Do Y O U know this title "Son of Perdition," is used but twice, once for Judas, and once for the antichrist line of succession?
What does "modern" theology dictate? In both the future (Futurism) and the Preterism (already in the Past) "Look to Jerusalem, and the REBUILDING of the Jewish Temple right? They already have begun a building fund, for this! Then when it's built, Antichrist will come and sit in it, right? This preached across the christian world by most, but thank God not all!
Romanism and the Reformation.
"Paul, who uses this expression in his prophetic portrait of Romanism, employs it both in Corinthians and Ephesians with reference to the Christian Church. 2 Corinthians 6:16 "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." In Ephesians he calls the Church-- Ephesians 2:22 :In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."
" To Paul emphatically the temple of God was the Church of Christ. This is the temple in which his prophetic eye saw the man of sin seated. It is no person in a temple of stone, but a power in the Christian Church"
Question: "is this not sound, both Biblically and exegesis"?
IBID: His Character:
" As Christ acts for God, so does"the man of sin," acts for Satan." Revelation 13:2 "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority."
Note: Who is this dragon? Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
"Christ and he are antagonistic powers: the Power of Light, and the Power of darkness; the majesty of Heaven, and the might of Hell. And as the Son of god humbled Himself, so the "man of sin" exalts himself. There is infinite self-abasement in the One, the Divine nature stooping to humanity;j and the infinite self- exaltation in the other, the human and the satanic assuming to be Divine. "He as God......

The both have the same geographical seat."

" They have the same chronological point of origin: Both arise on the fall of the old undivided empire of Rome. They have the chronological termination: Daniel's little horn perishes at the coming of the son of man (Christ) in glory, and Paul's man of sin is destroyed at the epiphany."
Both exalt themselves against God: Daniel mentions the proud words of the blasphemous little horn, and Paul the audacious deeds of the man of sin, showing himself as Divine.

They put forth two theories, of doctrines: Futurism and Preterism, Yes there is antichrist, yet far into the future, thus Futurism. The other is "Well he was Antiochus the Greek who violated the Temple, but he's long gone into the past-- Preterism! sadly some 96% of Christians have swallowed one or the other, yet neither is found a fit in the Word of God!
MAN OF SIN VS. THE MAN OF GOD.
"The man of sin,", like" the man of God", had a broad, extended meaning. When we read, "That the man of God may be perfect----
2 Timothy 3:17 "That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
"We do not suppose it means any one individual man, although it has a definite article. It indicates a whole calls of men of a certain character, succession of similar individuals. A man of sin could only be one man, just a a king of England could only mean an individual. The KING, on the other hand, may include a whole dynasty. When, in speaking of the Jewish Tabernacle, in Hebrews, Paul says that into the Holiest of all, "went the high priest alone once ever year," he includes the entire succession of High Priests of Israel. That a singular expression in prophecy may find its fulfillment in a plurality of individuals is perfectly clear from John's words, 1 John 2:18 " Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
Grammatically it may seem either and individual or a succession of similar individuals. The context determines that it actually does mean the latter" .2 Thessalonians 2:7 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." In which we see this man of sin [= iniquity= lawlessness] was latent, was already working in Paul's day [He died in A.D. 94+/-].
"So, 'the pope of Rome', may intimate one single bishop or the long line succession-- a perpetual person. So "the man of sin." from: "Romanisn and the Reformation."
The Vatican;'s counter argument was, "The man of sin, is singular but we have had many popes, thus this is wrong." However the reformers followed the Word of God very carefully and came the the above conclusion that it means both the singular and all the successors down through time, until the time of the end!
No duration at all is mentioned in this prophecy by Paul, only the two limits!
IBID: "ALREADY". the apostasy was developing, and it would not be destroyed till the advent, Christ's return. Paul's features of antichrist chronology reveal when it would arise {after the fall of Roman Empire] and that it would exist up to the second coming {Compare Daniel 7:26 " But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end."]
Thus the two limits set by both Daniel and Paul, are identical, but the problem they have, is that both of their dogma's, Preterism and Futurism BOTH fall OUTSIDE both of these limits! So who is correct, all the Reformers or today's theologians? {(J.B.) I do not attempt to persuade, but do show the facts of truth, so each of Y O U must decide to buy truth or reject God's truth and accept man;'s truth!]

Observe the place occupied by the man of sin-- the "temple", or house of God. This is not, and cannot be, any Jewish Temple.
Do Y O U know this title "Son of Perdition," is used but twice, once for Judas, and once for the antichrist line of succession?
What does "modern" theology dictate? In both the future (Futurism) and the Preterism (already in the Past) "Look to Jerusalem, and the REBUILDING of the Jewish Temple right? They already have begun a building fund, for this! Then when it's built, Antichrist will come and sit in it, right? This preached across the christian world by most, but thank God not all!
Romanism and the Reformation.
"Paul, who uses this expression in his prophetic portrait of Romanism, employs it both in Corinthians and Ephesians with reference to the Christian Church. 2 Corinthians 6:16 "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." Paul's fore view consists of two parts: First: A general view of a great apostasy
Second: a carefully drawn portrait of the power in which that apostasy would be headed up.
Acts 20:30 "Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.".
FUTURISM: has this found a correct fit in God;'s Word? NO! This says that the end-times Antichrist arises AFTER the so-called Secret Rapture, thus Christ's followers have no worries about this nor the tribulations. Remember "OF YOUR OWN SELVES" means out from Christ's followers these shall come, from within and among us!
1 Timothy 4:1-5 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.".
" Here we have not only a prediction that there would be an "apostasy", or a falling away from the faith in the christian Church, but a description of its origin and character, Its origin was to be satanic; its doctrines were to be doctrines of devils, or demons. It was to assume authority, and to lay down laws and prohibitions. Prominent among these was the prohibition of marriage. Marriage, although divinely ordained, would prohibited, and meats, though created to be received with thanksgiving , would be forbidden.{(JB Fish Fridays} The substitution of an external religiousness, and self-imposed sacrifices, for true holiness of heart,." Which church forbids its "Ecclesiastic Members," to marry? Rome, right? Foods? What about fasting for Lent? Can YOU find this word LENT in the Bible? Or what about EASTER or Christ's MASS?

"Oh, Christ, my Lord, look down upon us and bring upon us Thy day of judgement, and destroy the brood of Satan in Rome.. [(jb) that will not endear him to this system, right?] There sits the Man, of whom the Apostle Paul wrote [2 Thess. 2:3-4.] that he will oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God, - that Man of Sin, that Son of Perdition [sentenced to die the 2nd death Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." , Rev.2:11;20:6,14; 21:8] What else is Papal power but sin and corruption {(jb) then and still today, with rampant homosexuality, while puting up a sinless front?] It leads souls to destruction under thy name O Lord!.... I hope that day of judgement is soon to dawn. When the disciples wanted to talk about prophecy, Jesus quickly switched the conversation to evangelism. He wanted them to concentrate on their mission in the world. H said is essence, "The details of my return are none of your business. What is your business is the mission I have given you. Focus on that!"
Speculating on the exact timing of Christ's return is futile, because He said, "No one knows about the day or the hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Ibid: If you want Jesus to come back sooner, focus on fulfilling your mission, not figuring out prophecy. P.286
All the reformers said "Study the Prophecy"! but modern theologians say don't? right? So why this verse?
Revelation 1:3 "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."
[NOTE (J.B.) Does Rick Warren not want to see Y O U and me, receive this blessing? Remember that Revelation without knowing Daniel's book, shall remain a puzzle? Thus is not all prophecy study relevant? Or else why this.....
John 14:29 "And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe."
Question, to me JB this seems an obvious question: "Does Rick Warren truly believe in Christ Jesus, not the "Cosmic christ?" Or is it just a big con, on his part, and a a way to make a very good living? Is this the why o f, "I will not allow Revelation to be taught in MY church?"
Yet is not much of the world "Hooked" on prophecy? Either Futurism or Preterism, meaning the Instead of Jesus will come in the far distant future, or he has already come and gone, from Greece when he soiled the Temple by roasting a pig within it! Both ideas come from a single source, the Papacy!]
WHAT, AFTER ALL, DOES THE BIBLE SAY ON THIS?
2 Peter 1:19-21 "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
Does not the Bible tell us to study the Prophecies? YES!"Ye would do well"
MARTIN LUTHER (1483-1546) "Luther... proved, by the revelations of Daniel and St. John, by the epistles of St. Paul, st. Peter, and St. Jude, that the reign of Anitchrist, predicted and described in the bible, was the Papacy...And all the people did say, Amen! A holy terror seized their souls. It was Antichrist whom they beheld seated on the pontifical throne. This new idea, which derived greater strength from the prophetic descriptions launched forth by Luther into the midst of his contemporaries, inflicted the most terrible blow on Rome". J.H. Can he also be wrong, as 96% of Christians say, this is not in the Bible? At this point, where are Y O U?
Yet, no matter where Y O U are, at this time, THIS IS history, and it can;'t be undone, and truth will always come out! WHY?
John 17:17 " Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."
Revelation 13:1-2 "And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. Yet, today they are ALL condemned as being in error! but look at their own words:
Cardinal Giorgio Salvadore spoke that this YEAR'S 1,981 ST ANNIVERSARY, is to be the Vatican's last in regards to waiting for the Lord to return to Earth! "We just feel that Jesus is not coming back, by the looks of it", he said, "It's been ages like He's probably flat out doing other really good things for people somewhere else."
Nearly 2,000 years ago, Jesus promised his disciples that he would come back again in chapter 14:1-3 of John. But having the ability to turn water into wine has it's ups and downs. adding, m"We all make promises we can't keep when we are drunk, Jesus is no different"
WOW! Is the the message of faith, from a faithful follower of Jesus Christ? Or one who follows another supernatural being?
Let's Review: ATTRIBUTES OF THE LITTLE HORN POWER FROM THE WORD OF GOD:

4. DIFFERENT-DIVERSE FROM THE OTHERS. [VS.24]
5 MORE STOUT THAN HIS FELLOWS (OTHERS) [VS. 20] more resolute.
, deposes kings and sets up others via political and religious powers into one office., as in #4.
6 UPROOTED THREE KINGDOMS {Before whom three fell VS20] Heruli 493; Vandals 534; Ostrogoths in 538 all A.D.] {Dan.7:8,20,24.] (Ever heard of these nations?)
7. EYES LIKE THE EYES OF MAN, SPOKE GREAT WORDS AGAINST THE MOST HIGH {VS. 8, AND, 25]
8 HE WILL WEAR OUT THE SAINTS. [7:25]
9. He will THINK to change times and laws [7:25]
10. time, times and half a time [ 7:25] (see Numbers 14:34- Ezekiel 4:6 One day for a year= 1260 years)
Today most apply this as 3.5 years, and apply at some future post rapture date, yet how can we split-up, in sections God's prophecy without such instructions to do so????
11. Shall devour the whole earth [trample it and crush it Vs. 23]
12. It shall exist unto the end [Until the Ancient of days comes Vs. 22}
13. Dominion taken away.. [vs 26]
There is NO other POWER on God's green earth, that all these identifiers can possibly fit, but the Little Horn Power whose seat is in the Vatican!
LUTHER & THE SECOND COMING:
In 1538, in commenting on the prevalent godlessness, Luther said: "I hope that day is not far of and we shall see it." "Luther's Schhriften" {writings} vol. 22, col.1331
I hope the last day will not travel over 100 years, because God;s Word will be taken away again and a great darkness will come for the scarcity of ministers of the word" Ibid Vol. 22, col. 16
[(JB) Here I fully agree, even though we have a record number of preachers of the word of God, few there be that believe it in total, other wise none would accept evolution over Creation!] Thus I agree with Walter Veith, when he said, m"These days his words have been fulfilled!" And I say Shame on us all!
TO THE THEN THE REFORMERS
HE sits in the temple of God: The face of the man of sin is the face of a false apostle, the dark face of Judas. Written upon the wall of the temple, "son of perdition." The man of sin is as Judas- secret enemy while seeming a friend- a "familiar friend," yet a fatal foe who betray with a kiss and a "hail m aster."
Observe the lace occupied by the man of sin-- the "temple our house of God. This is not, and cannot be, any "Jewish Temple". This blows up the Pretorism teachings that this is all in the far past.
Note: The title "Son of Perdition" appears but twice, #1. for Judas the betrayer. #2. The instead of Christ --antichrist.
TO THE NOW:
WE HAVE FUTURISM AND DISPENTATIONAISM"
We must keep our eyes upon Jerusalem, and for the rebuilding of the New Temple, and that's WHERE The antichrist will sit! This is what passes for Bible knowledge in 96% of today "Christian" Churches! How awfully sad!
Paul, who uses this expression in his prophetic portrait of Romanism, employs it in both Corinthians and Ephesians with reference to the Christian church. In the second Epistle to the Corinthians, writing Gentile Christians, he says, " Ye are the temple of the living God." 2 Corinthians 6:16 "And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." In Ephesians he calls the church Ephesians 2:21-22 " In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit."
So to Paul emphatically the temple of God was the church of Christ. THIS is the temple in which is his prophetic eye saw the man of sin seated. It is no person in a temple of stone, but a power in the CHRISTIAN CHURCH! "ROMANISM AND THE REFORMATION"
It this method not logical, as well as Biblical? Thus it is TRUTH, yet many shall reject it, because of ???? I was taught this for many years, or Grandma believed so do I! Is that not a type of group think? When we face judgement, our record will speak for us and it alone.

Ezekiel 3:18 " When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand."
CONT:: Christ and he are antagonistic powers: the power of Light, and the power of darkness; the majesty of heaven, and the might of hell. And as the Son of God humbled Himself, so the "man of sin" exalts himself.Cont:
{Pope Leo X111 in a Encyclical Letter June 20, 1894 "We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty."
2 Thessalonians 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
Catholic National, July 1895 {thus the same man] The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ Himself, hidden under veil of flesh." [And Y O U say?]
Cont: "There is infinite self-abasement in the One, the Divine nature stooping to humanity; and infinite self-exaltation in the other, the human and satanic assuming the Divine. "He as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God", or Divine or a divine being. There is no article here before the name God, The expression indicate that the man of sin would show himself by acts and professions to be possessed of superhuman and Divine dignity, authority and power." THE REFORMATION REKINDLED.[part 1] Taken from A.D T.V.'s # 931 Twin Pillars..
This topic will be a totally different "kettle of fish!"
Professor Veith and myself both fully accept and believe that God has His own, in all of earth's religions, because in the end it is Jesus that shall judge, and not no man! However, truth is truth, throughout the whole of the Cosmos, agree
But what is truth?
Man's truth, is not to be counted on, or else earth would not today have over 40,000 denominations, all of whom call themselves "CHRISTIANS"! Would Y O U agree? More latter.
Now, may I ask Y O U, dear Reader, a question? ARE Y O U a Protestant? If yes. . . .what are you Protesting?
This, next lessons will take many of you into Bible truths, that may hurt and even anger you, but a ask to tighten your seat belt, for the sake of your soul, the YOU!
John 17:17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Psalms 119:151 "Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth."
There are NO other truths, regarding the Bible's Author, thus it the only reliable source for all things about God and the Godhead as well as Heaven, agree?
Just as the Books of Daniel and Revelation, are written in layers upon bigger layers of information, just as a multi-story building's floor upon floor, so also Does the Bible expand a precept.
As this whole precept, is directed to humans and their lives on this earth, it also get bigger and more terrible, especially those who reject Christ, or have a deceived view of Him.
Before we go further, please allow me to give you my most humble apologies, for the hard truths that will follow, because of the all the lies, deceptions, and honest truth that has come forth from more than 90% of all Protestant churches. I Came out of them myself, and it was hurtful, to me, personally, that I was lied to by those who teach the Bible to us!
Psalms 119:174 "I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight."
Yes, there shall be those, who as I, will be hurt by the truth. Not only hurt, but very angry by this truth, but as I studied the Bible, with prayers, and help from the Holy Spirit, the anger left me, and joy replaced the hurt, I pray that it shall do for Y O U, what it, the truth of God, has done for me.
PLEASE, be angry at me, but not at the Truth, because who enjoys being lied to?
If it is truth, then its worth buying, and you've already read the three locations in the Bible that tells of the truth and its source, is none other than God Himself.
Test all that I write, as I will not attempt to indoctrinate Y O U, the truth of God will do this, IF Y O U but allow it! NEVER, EVER, TAKE THE WORDS OF MAN/MEN, FOR THE WORD OF GOD, CHECK THAT OUR FOR SELF.
ALL YOU'LL FIND AR FACTS, so I ask you to test these facts within the Bible, and if they are truth, then Y O U must make a choice right?
If it fits . . . buy it! If it does not. . . reject it!
I do not wish to trod on anyone, but remember "The Truth will set you free." John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Truth is not free, it cost time and effort to search it out. Yes Salvation is free, but it cost us something, our total self-reliance, upon self. As we can't make self righteous, by our own power, nor save self to salvation, for that we all, ALL need Heaven's help! Yet it cost's EVERYTHING WE HAVE.
Matthew 13:46 "Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it."
Is not your eternal life worth a great price? Yet money can't buy it, only obedient and loving service, sharing Jesus with others!
THE TWIN PILLARS OF REFORMATION.
L et's begin with man's history, are you ready for a history lesson, few schools, if any still teach? What you will read, please take it as a history lesson, and not an attack on anyone or power system. Again, firmly believe, that God has His people, in every denomination, on this planet! He has His children, in every walk of life and religion on this planet!
If one lives in ignorance, God winks at your errors, BUT If you know a truth, and you do other wise, then....it's up to Him! Acts 14:16 "Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways."
So, What was the Reformation, some 400 years ago? Why did it come about? Is it still "Enforce" today? More importantly, do we still remember the what and the why today? May I ask you, "Are You a Pro- tes-tori? Are not most Christian Churches still Protestant, today?
But if your are a Protestant, then WHAT IS IT your are Protesting about? It has been virtually eliminated from the face of this earth! Does this mean all those early Reformers died by horrific means, died in vain? Or did they have a very strong and valid reason, to fight knowing they places life in peril;?
WHAT IS PROTESTANTISM?
It has both a Positive +, and a Negative - meaning. within itself. IF there was not a positive to its message, it would have died before it began!
PRO-- (for, in favor of) and testari ( to bear witness) A true Protestant therefore, is a witness for the truth: That which is simply negation of error is not true Protestantism. A true Protestant will bear primarily a positive message. His attitude will be that of his Master, who said: "I came not to judge the world, but to save the world." John 12:47. {Aurther S. Maxwell, Protestantism in Periled, Signs Publishing Warburton, Victoria Australia.)
Now does this mean that no errors, ever should not be exposed? By that, I mean, how many enjoy, being lied to?
So, what went wrong, in the Christian world, that made it necessary to begin a protest movement? It was long way back in history and it can be said that it ,began with...
Augustine's book, "The City of God",: The theology of Augustine places the emphasis on the church as the kingdom of God, declaring that Christ was already reigning with His saints, and that the resurrection was of dead souls to spiritual life. The church was encouraged to assume the ruler-ship of the nations, and instead of carrying the gospel to the world, the church leaders began to seek prestige and power by political intrigue. The Dark Ages were the result.
Thus the Kingdom of God found its reality with the church, from this kind of theological thinking. Look at the phrase "Dead souls to spiritual life," this is directly out mythology, and not the Holy Bible For today most believe, as taught, die and go to your reward but look....
Ecclesiastes 9:5 "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." Genesis 3: 19's "from dust thou art, to dust thou shalt return."
Thus the Bible's narrative, of the Coming Kingdom at Christ's return was 'Spiritualised' away by men.
NOTE (J.B.) is the reason Cardinal Giorgio Salvadori said this: "The Vatican since 1981 was the last year they regarded waiting for the Lord to return to earth.We just feel Jesus is not coming back by the looks of it, he said, "It's bee ages like, He's probably flat out doing other really good things for people somewhere else." The Vatican defended Jesus' broken promise {John 14:1-3} claiming "He was probably drinking wine", at the time. "Having the ability to turn water into wine had its ups and downs" added Cardinal Salvadore, "We all make promises we can't keep when were' drunk. Jesus is no different."
I, John b. will that speak for itself!
This theology began to bring many whispers of discontent, and among the first were the Waldenses beginning in the 1100's by none Joachim, who began giving clear Bible witness against this doctrine, and as he began to unfold the Prophecies of both Daniel and Revelation, he actually measured the Prophetic times period of "A time and times and the dividing of time" of Daniel 7 as 1260 years. Two hundred years latter can Wycliffe, "the Morning Star of the Reformation".He, like Huss and Jerome of Bohemia, was greatly influenced by such men as Joachim.
The 16th Century 9 1500's) dawned ablaze of glory, radiant with the prophetic vision. Martin Luther, Calvin, Baxter, Cranmenr, and hundreds of others led the church out of the darkness of men's doctrines, and into the light of God's truth.
There are many whop hold up proof, that the Waldenses' protest go back to the 4th and even the 3rd century, by the protesting against the doctrines of men! Even they began to call this church system the anti-christ! [JB) Please know this term in the Greek of the New testament this word is instead of and or in place of and not anti of against}
Note: Wycliffe was arrested and my Armed men taken to London England, but God spared him by taking his life! Yet some 40 years latter, they dig up his bones cursed him, and burned his bones to ashes, tossed then into the river. {Can it be said his ashes took God's over all the earth?}
THE REFORMATION RESTS UPON A TWOFOLD DISCOVERY:
1. The Rediscovery of Christ and His salvation. [Christ is THE central Figure in the Bible]
From that time we have the phrases "Sola Christos", Sola Gratia" , Sola Scriptura" meaning Christ alone, Grace and Saved by Grace alone, Scriptures and scriptures alone.
2. The discovery of the identity of the antichrist.
The latter proved to be the "binding together", the message of protesting the man-made doctrines. The rediscovery of the sufficiency of christ rested on the "Word of God". "The Bible and the Bible alone," which provided the weapons of warfare and the discovery of the identity of the Antichrist united the Reformation in opposition to the Perceived, common enemy.
Now, granted, they were many differences of doctrines, regarding Salvation, yes, But on the I.D. of the Antichrist, they were as one!
There are three distinct sets of prophecies of this rise, character, deeds, and doom of Romanism. The first is found in the Book of Daniel, The Second in the Epistles of John; and the Third, in the letters and the Apocalypse of John [Revelation] ; and none is complete in itself. It is only by the combing of these three that one receives a completed picture. Daniel's overview presents the POLITICAL CHARACTER, and relations of Romanism. The apostle Paul's foreview, on the other hand, gives the ECCLESIASTICAL CHARACTER AND RELATIONS OF THIS POWER. and John's Prophecies, both in Revelations 13 and 17, present the COMBINATION OF BOTH, fthe mutual relations of the Latin Church and Roman state. Daniel 7:8 "I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things."
THE LITTLE HORN-- DANIEL'S DESCRIPTION:
The Rule of Rome. We repeat, has never ceased. It was a secular pagan power for 5-6 centuries, and it has been an ecclesiastical power and apostate Christian power ever since. The rule of Rome revived in a new form, and was as real under the popes of the 13th century as it had been under the Caesars of the first! It was as oppressive, cruel, and bloody under Pope Innocent III, as it had been under Nero and Domitian. The reality was the same, though the forms had changed. The Caesars did not persecute the witnesses of Jesus more severely and bitterly that did the popes; Diocletian did not destroy the saints or oppose the gospel more that did the Inquisition of Papal days. Rome is one and of the same all through, both locally and morally." Note:
The Popes even have the very same titles as did the Caesars Pontifix Maximus {P.M. on both their statues]
THE LITTLE HORN:
The power symbolized by the proud, intelligent, and blasphemous, head-like "little horn" of the Roman beast, To this he devotes, on the contrary, the greater part of the prophecy:; and I must ask you now {as I ask you, today] carefully to note the various points that prove this horn to be a marvelous prophetic symbol or hieroglyph of the roman papacy, fitting it as one of Chub's keys fits the lock for which it was made, perfectly and in every part, while it refuses absolutely to adapt itself to any other power. Ibid Romanism and the Reformation.
Note: Please know that some 96% of the Christian world, today, says he was wrong, yet ALL of the Reformers agreed, with with each other on this fact, so who is wrong? Many of them, then, died for their convictions, how many are willing today? ?????.
H. Grattan Guinness' book "Romanism and the Reformation" Harley House Roe F. June 1 1887.
"The Reformation of the sixteenth century, which gave birth to Protestantism, was based on scripture. It gave back to the world the Bible.
Note: [(JB) books were very expensive being written by hand, thus very rare, and the Bibles were kept away from all but the very rich and the churches kept them locked up] It, the Protestants translated the Holy Bible in peoples languages from the Latin, and taught the word, and exposed the errors and corruptions of Rome by the use of the Sword of the Spirit, the word of God. It Applied THE PROPHECIES, and accepted their particle guidance. Such Reformation work requires to be done afresh, today! WE, today, have suffered prophetic and anti-papal truth to be too much forgotten. This generation is dangerously latitudinarian-- grossly indifferent to truth and error on points which scripture is tremendously decided and absolutely clear."
Now Professor Veith, will take us down into History, on topics no longer found in books, or even in new Encyclopedias. He found them in old must, moldy books, long out of print and forgotten by nearly all.Many of the books, that speak of these things, have been "cleansed" , cleaned-up to remove the sting, so to speak, but History can't really be changed now can it? Writing a different story today does not change yesterday!
Now Mr. Guinness, was the last of the great Protesters, that generation's gone, non-existent, and sadly so is are their words and works! Did all of them suffer and die for nothing or was it all in error? Did Huss die by being burned alive, and millions of others, at the stake for nothing, or die for an human error?
Ibid: "Our reformed faith is thus endangered both from without and from within, and it can be defended only by a resolute return to the true witness borne by saints and martyrs of other days.. We must learn afresh from divine prophecy God's estimate of the character of the church of Rome if we would be moved afresh to be witnesses for Christ as against this great apostasy.
We feel constrained to renew the grand old Protest to which the world owes its modern acquisitions of Liberty, Knowledge, Peace and Prosperity.
Note: (JB) Look at all the nations yet today that are largely Catholic, and what is their economic levels? Mostly the very rich and the very poor right? Just as it was during the Dark Ages and Feudalism! WHY? Then again The Vatican has more wealth than many of the world's largest corporations, WHY? Jesus had only the clothes on His back, and not a place He called His own to lay His head!
Ibid cont: " We recognize it as a patent and undeniable fact, that the future of our race lies not with the Papists, but with the Protestants. Its leading Nations this day are not Papal Italy, Spain and Portugal, but Protestant Germany, England and America,."
The Veith crew interviewed many people in front of the "Radhouse" Townhouse of one German city, Nuernberg, where Martin Luther preached. Over the two entry door, during his time they place very elaborate carvings, that depicted the prophecies of Daniel's kingdom successions from Babylon to Rome , and they asked many people if they knew what their meanings were, none knew, not even a city's tour guide for THAT building! As two young men said we are Protestants, yes, and, Yes, one owns a Bible but one just does not read it!
ROME BEFORE AND AFTER CHRIST:
ITS PLACE: morphed into being from the body of the fourth empire [Pagan Rome]
THE PERIOD of its ORIGIN: soon after the division of the Roman territory into the Ten Kingdoms.
ITS NATURE: different from the other kingdoms, though in some respects like them. It was a horn {denotes power], but with eyes and mount. I would be a kingdom like the rest, a monarchy; but its kings would be OVERSEERS or Bishops and prophets.
ITS MORAL CHARACTER: boastful, blasphemous; great words spoken against the Most High --
GOD and Heaven! Daniel 7:25.
Note: Today many teach that this Little horn came up out from the third beast, or Greece but the Bible itself tells us from the 4th beast and that's Rome!
ITS LAWLESSNESS: It would claim {for itself] authority over times and laws {Dan. 7:25]
Its OPPOSITION to the Saints: it would be a persecuting power, and that for so long a period that it would wear out the saints of the Most High, who would be given into its hand for a time.
ITS DURATION: "TIME, TIMES AND A HALF TIME" OR 1260 YEARS. [ Prophetic time 1 day=1 year. Numbers: 14:34-- Ezekiel 4:4-6.]
Its Doom: it would suffer the loss of its dominion before it was itself destroyed: "They shall take away its dominion, to consume and destroy it to the end." [Daniel 7:26 "But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end."]
From 539 AD to 1798 A.D when Napoleon captured the Vatican and took away all but 114 Acres of land, 538 + 1260 = 1798. This Pope died 3 Months latter. Deadly wound.

WHAT IS A SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST?

IF, you believe in Jesus Christ's soon return-- "THE SECOND ADVENT", then guess what? you ARE ALREADY AN ADVENTIST !
PLUS...If Y O U , fully believe that the Holy Bible IS the very word of God, and you've studied it regularly, and you have found that the Sabbath, the weekly Sabbaths, are on the Seventh Day, then you are a Seventh Day Adventist, without knowing it! But any such statement MUST be backed up by Scripture, as anyone speaking of a Biblical Fact, without the support of the Scriptures, is only starting yet another of the 40+ thousand of "Christian" denomination on this earth, right?
2 Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" John 17:17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."
Now after Y O U read the next verse, can you doubt His truthfulness, of His Word?

Roman's tells us all, that ALL need Christ's forgiveness, does it not?.
NO KINGDOM, NOR NATION WITHOUT LAWS!
Matthew 19:17-19 "And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."
Why is this requirement so fully viable to all?
Well, think about it this way, If YOUR Heavenly Father, allowed all, including the willful sinners, into Heaven, would it be the the very, for us all now on this earth, with it's crime a second? If that's our vision of heaven , count me OUT!
Do yo, or rather, CAN Y O U agree with this fact: "Mankind needs Laws, on our roads, in our schools and on our jobs, and YES, even in our homes! How could anyone play a game without rules?"
As the old saying goes, "Honor among thieves", even lawbreakers have their own laws, right?
Now, it should not come as a surprise, that God's Government also operates upon a set of Laws! That law's first law is LOVE! Lucifer broke that law when he became very proud and selfish. Until he as Satan { meaning he who Apposes] the Holy Angles had obeyed the law of God, without even thinking about them., They loved God and each other, and they were filled with joy. After Satan rebelled....
Revelation 12:7-9 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
Now, there's much speculation, in word and print, from mankind, as to the why, Satan rebelled, but in truth all we know is what is written in The Word, right?
Isaiah 14:12-15 " How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit."
NOTE: The word hell, in the last sentence is the Hebrew word SHEOL, meaning nothing more than the common grave for mankind.
Thus after Satan deceived Eve and Adam lack of faith/trust in God, and sin entered nto this earth, the Law of Love had to be fully explained. The Law of Love includes ALL that is within the Ten Commandments, and The Bible, but it takes the Bible and the writings of the prophets to magnify that principle of love so that we can see and understand all that it means.
Think this way..."If God had Zapped Satan and the 1/3 of all the angles [Rev.12:4] would that not be taken by all, including you and me, that God no longer ruled with love but with fear? Can we put a gun to an other's head, and demand that they love us, out of fear? NO!

Sadly many labor under the false premise, that A. The Law has been done away with., when Jesus died
B. I am a "New Testament Christian!"
Both are false, as neither finds a fit in the Word of God. Regarding A: Yes there was a law that was abrogated, done away with, the Law of Blood Sacrifice, because Christ was, and is, that Perfect Sacrifice.
The "Ceremonial Laws" are they that where "Nailed to His Cross! God's Royal Law, the Law of Liberty still and shall always stand!

B. Pray tell what did Jesus use and read and teach from if NOT the Whole of the Old Testament? Saying and believing one is ma New Testament anything is saying I believe only one half of God's Word! THERE CAN BE NO SIN. . . IF THERE IS NO LAW!
This subtitle, is fully truth, in both Heaven and earth! Right? How can any police, give Y O U a speeding Ticket, when there is no posted law for any speed limits? Or, how can one become a thief, IF, there are no laws against stealing? As sin, is the breaking of God's Law.....

THE CEREMONIAL LAWS ONLY. . ."NAILED TO THE CROSS".
Sadly , the Jews, then and still now, are still awaiting the Messiah to come, so I ask them but one simple question: If YOU insist that we are still under the Old Law, the Old Testament sacrificial system that was but a "shadow", a precursor to the Messiah, "Why are YOU not sacrificing live animals still today, is in the Books of Moses???? One can't really have it both ways right?

NOTE: Please, think of God's Law as a MIRROR, upon which we can look to see where the dirt {sins} are on our faces.
Galatians 3:24-26 "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus."
Sadly, even-though all humans are Children of God, not many live and act like it!
THE LAW . . .AND GOD'S GRACE.
You are driving to your Mom's place, she called you, to say that she has fallen, and afraid to move, so you are speeding. A Police Cruiser pulls you over, and you tell him your reason, he says follow me, and he hist the siren, and escorts you to Mom's place, but he walks in with you, to see if your story is hurtful. It is, and he says, will Sir, I could give you a big speeding ticket, but I will not, ticket you, due to the circumstances, You were under the Law for SPEEDING, but the officer placed YOU under Grace, and forgave your speeding offense.
Romans 5:20 "Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:"
Romans 6:1-3 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?"

Revelation 22:11 "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still."
If you were, to take the time too read all of Genesis chapter 1 you'll notice that God set the days from Even {evening}to even and the first day Vs.5, 2nd day Vs. 8, the 3rd day Vs13, 4th in Vs19 the 5th in Vs23 and 6th in Vs.31. Then look....
Genesis 2:1-3 "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Note: God Blessed and Sanctified the Seventh day , now look at your calendar and which day is that? From Sundown Friday [Preparation Day] to Saturday/Sabbath's sunset is this Sabbath Day!
Exodus 20:8-11 " Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it."
